In 2022, we came to Ballater to play in the Royal Deeside Golf week, staying on the campsite in our camper van – who we affectionately called Miss Daisy. We loved the area, and decided to look to invest in a property to refurbish – we found The Apartment. During the next 18 months, we replaced the back roof, the front door, the front windows and made a number of improvements to the internal decor. It has been a pleasure to work with local trades to improve the property. A big thank you to them all!
Middle cottage came next – we bought this cosy cottage in the autumn of 2025 and again worked with local trades to replace the carpets, upgrade the bathroom and kitchen and install a log burner
